Who we are
BELFOR is the leading global restoration and repair company. We analyse and restore fire, water and storm damage of every kind and on any scale. Where and when we work
BELFOR is at your service with more than 6,000 employees in 243 offices spanning 28 countries. 365 days a year. Around the clock. Thanks to our international network, we can reach any incident site in the world at very short notice and, in most cases, intervene and initiate action to stabilise the situation within the first 24 to 48 hours. Our RED ALERT® emergency response programme goes a step further by providing you with assistance even before damage occurs. In the event of an incident, RED ALERT® customers therefore save time, inconvenience and cost.

Each service must be properly described in a formal agreement before it is performed. All work and business processes must be documented in a comprehensible manner. We understand the importance of keeping confidential information secret and have measures in place to protect it against access by third parties at all times. This applies in particular to electronic data, which is additionally protected by our own IT code of practice. Our job also entails attaching maximum priority to industrial safety and accident prevention. In this context, we voluntarily strive to exceed the statutory standards in many cases. All BELFOR employees must comply with a further, unwritten law, namely without exception to treat business partners and, of course, colleagues with respect.

All the companies in the BELFOR Group accept a special obligation to the environment and its protection. For this reason, we always apply the most environment-friendly and lowest-impact restoration method – such as the use of Soot Removal Film, which was developed specifically for fire damage restoration purposes. It binds contaminants for disposal without generating any dust and consumes practically no water. Our compliance with all national and international environmental protection laws goes without saying. These include EU Directive 2004/35/EC on environmental liability with regard to the prevention and remedying of environmental damage, and the German Environmental Damage Act of 2007, which imposes an obligation to undertake restoration works if a danger of environmental damage exists. A company ignoring this obligation can incur very extensive liability. We help you to avoid exposure to statutory liability claims arising from such consequential damage.
