Now this is a trade show I would be extremely excited to visit - Electronics, Gadgets, and so many other Toys!

The 2010 International consumer Electronics Show (CES) is taking place in Las Vegas this weekend January 7 to 10.  This annual event features hundreds of technology and consumer electronics exhibitors.  It is the preeminent consumer technology trade show.  The show is being held at the Las Vegas Convention Center with additional venues used for certain specialties.

There should be something of interest for everyone among the following categories:

  • Audio Technology
  • Digital Imaging
  • Emerging Technology
  • Gaming
  • Home Networking
  • Home Theater/ Video
  • In-Vehicle Technology
  • Wireless

CES TechZones offer themed exhibits such as:

  • Digital Health
  • eBooks
  • The 3D Experience
  • Kids@Play
  • Mommy Tech
  • Robotics
  • Safe Driver Tech

Some of the top trends to be discussed will include:

  • Mobile Apps Showdown - featuring the top 10 apps in five categories (Education, Lifestyle, Entertainment, Productivity and IT).
  • Battle of Mobile Devices - iPhone versus The Palm Pre
  • Focus on Green/ Environmentally Friendly Technologies
  • Software - The Hidden Category at CES 2010

Technology is currently a huge part of mostly everyone’s life.  Today’s consumers demand the leading, cutting edge devices and software applications.  The CES provides a yearly snapshot of everything tech related and a look forward to innovations with which we will interact with our physical world and each other.
